Builders Are Rare

Everyone has met a person with money looking for something to fund. Everyone has met a person with an idea looking for someone to build it. And everyone — everywhere — has met a person with opinions about how others should build.

What almost nobody has met enough of is the builder: the person who takes the idea, absorbs the risk, structures the problem, recruits the team, survives the boring middle years, and ships the thing.

Why builders stay rare

• Building punishes you daily; talking never does.
• The reward arrives years after the work, and most people cannot hold that gap.
• Every unfinished build has a thousand witnesses and one responsible name.

That is why I treat building as the core identity — not fundraising, not commentary, not consumption. When you meet a real builder, you are meeting the rarest input in the whole economy.

Money is common. Ideas are common. Opinions are free. Builders are rare.
